On the afternoon of Friday, June 16 over 70 people joined an emergency protest vigil to mark the 2500th
U.S. military death in Iraq. The event was held in front of the offices of U.S. Senator Norm Coleman at on University Avenue in St. Paul.
The vigil was organized under the call of "Not One More Death, Not One More Dollar." The Friday anti-war
event called attention to not only the 2500 U.S. military dead but also the unknown thousands of Iraqi people who have died as a result of the U.S. war. |
