August 6, 2005, marks the 60th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, resulting in the death of more than 100,000 civilians. August 6th also marks the 15th anniversary of the U.S. war on Iraq, including 13 years of sanctions which resulted in the death of more that 1.5 million Iraqi, many of them children under the age of 5.
This is a visual representation of the event. It is not meant to be complete, but rather a glimpse of the moment.
